How It’s Made

Every Hang With Love ornament begins as an original idea and is transformed into a dimensional scene through designed wooden layers and careful finishing touches.

From Sketch to Digital Design

An initial idea is sketched on paper and transferred to the computer, where it is used to design the individual wooden layers. The scene is carefully separated into individual pieces, with each layer contributing different elements, details, and depth to the finished ornament. Engraved details and cut lines are then added to prepare the design for production.

Precision Cut & Engraved

Once the digital design is complete, each layer is precisely cut and engraved from wood using a laser cutter. Engraved lines bring out the smaller details of the scene, while the individual cut pieces are designed to fit together to create the ornament’s dimensional construction.

Natural Wood

For the Natural Wood finish, the character of the wood and engraved details become part of the finished design. The individual layers are carefully aligned and glued together to portray the dimensional scene.

Hand Painted

For the Hand Painted finish, the individual wooden pieces are painted with acrylic before final construction. After careful assembly, the entire ornament is protected with coats of satin varnish to preserve the colors.

From the Worktable to Your Tree

After all the designing, cutting, painting, and layering, a little Christmas scene finally comes to life. Each finished ornament captures a holiday cat moment, ready to add its own little story to your Christmas tree.
